About Me

Hi, I'm Courtney.  I'm a highly motivated Music Educator with 5 years of experience in developing engaging, student-centered music instruction for diverse populations.  As a music teacher, I have a lifelong passion for learning and asking questions.  I'm tenacious, curious, and ready to take on a challenge.

I'm certified in Orff Schulwerk and completed my training at Trinity University in 2019.  Prior to that, I completed my Masters and Bachelor's in Music and Human Learning at The University of Texas at Austin.

When I'm not at work I enjoy being with my pets, gaming, listening to podcasts, traveling, cooking, and catching up on my favorite shows.  Occasionally, I enjoy disc golfing, when the weather is temperate and the wind is calm.
